Hey! I am currently set up with my Electro 6 as a top keyboard being controlled by an 88 key (JUNO DS-88) as well via the external kbd to lo function. It has been very handy to use both keybeds to control engines from the nord, and I have not had much issue with it, though I am still learning to understand the different settings and configurations within the nord.
I am wondering if it would be possible to set my one sustain pedal to control both keyboards using the external kbd to lo function. When I have the pedal set to either keyboard, the sustain works when playing that keybed, but not the other. Is there some sort of MIDI configuration I can set up on the nord to receive the midi signals coming from the JUNO when the pedal is plugged into that? Or to send the midi signals to the external keyboard if it's plugged into the nord?
Hopefully that makes sense. I can make any clarifications needed if that would help. It may be worth noting that the global channel is set to OFF and the ExtKb channel to 1 (this is the only configuration I've found to use the external kbd to lo function). Any advice or help would be appreciated!
To do that you need to have the Sustain pedal connected to the Juno and configure the Juno so that it will send the related MIDI CC64 to both the NE6 ExtToLo and Global MIDI Channels (so you need to set NE6 Global Channel to a value different than ExtToLo and not "off" of course)
I don't know the Juno DS-88 in detail but probably you need to define 2 "Parts/Zones" to do that, one configured to send MIDi to the ExtToLo channel and sending everything (including notes) and the other to send MIDI to NE6 Global channel and sending only the messages/CCs you want (i.e. at least CC 64 = Sustain)

Not sure why I never thought to look through the midi of the juno, but now that I have, I can see all of the functionality I was missing. Took a while to find the settings within my juno, but eventually I did. Thanks again!
