Laptop rest extension

I have a Nord Grand connected to a MacBook Pro, loaded with VSTs. The Macbook sits on top of the Nord Grand, but its top is sort of narrow and I'm afraid the Macbook may fall behind the Nord.

The Arturia Keylab 88 MKII that I used had a "laptop rest extension" that attached to the back of the keyboard.

I don't use the music rest of the Nord Grand, and I've been thinking of building a similar laptop rest extension that I could insert into the two music rest attachments in the back of the Nord Grand.

Has anyone done something similar and could share pictures / ideas?

You could check YouTube for "Nord with extension" Videos...

By chance, I found some Clips of expander or iPad ideas, that also show some interesting solutions for holders...
