Good evening,
I just stumbled upon strange behavior with my lead A1. I control the A1 via Midi (Studiologic SL990, hammer keyboard with some Midi Magic). Switching programs in “program mode” works without any problems, as does changing banks with the corresponding MSB/LSB commands.
Problem:
When sending program change commands in performance mode, the red LED display changes (and the midi-thru commands are also passed on correctly) BUT the sound remains the same!!
Could an A1 user please recreate this. That would be an extreme bug/limitation that would need to be fixed in my opinion.
Greetings
Olli
P.S. a short video to illustrate this
P.P.S. I use 5 Pin DIN-Midi Connector (not USB)

Re: Lead A1 - Midi ProgramChange-Bug in Performance Mode ??
Good video to illustrate the problem. I had an A1 for years and sent program changes in performance mode all the time and never had this happen.
You might want to save all of your programs/performances and do a factory reset. If this is a new unit and you still have the problem, I would return it under warranty.
Does this happen with every bank, every performance?

Re: Lead A1 - Midi ProgramChange-Bug in Performance Mode ??
oh man, thanks for letting me know that the Midi-PG commands worked for you.
After a bit of trial and error, I found why it didn't work:
I had set global Ch. 1 in the Midi menu and also Ch. 1 for slots A-D. After I set slot A-D = OF, everything worked as desired!
Greetings Olli
