ENV Filter Default for Samples

Post by WannitBBBad »

I have been sampling for quite a while now, but noticed recently that the assigned ENV filter when loading Nord-created samples in my Stage 3 will vary between LP12 and LP24 depending upon the sample sound; strings use LP12 whereas the DX7 sample uses LP24 for example. However, in my review here of the settings created by default when "dynamics" is set for the various sample categories using Nord Sample Editor 4, I found that LP12 is used for all categories when loaded into the Stage 3. I'm not sure if NSE4 sets the ENV filter to LP12, or if the filter isn't defined and LP12 is simply the default filter used with the NS3 synth engine. I haven't found any way to create a sample that will load using LP24 like Nord has been able to do.
