NS4: Adding preset keeps over-writing Synth A

I'm trying to add a third synth sound using a preset. I select C in the Synth section, but each time I move the program know to hear the different presets it keeps defaulting to the A sound and over-writing it.

When you want to choose a preset for one layer (in your case layer C), you select layer C as you did. Then you need to press shift-preset to select a preset only for one layer.
