Icon Problem with Nord Sound Manager - trying to backup

Hi, I have the right sound manager program (v7.70) for my Nord Electro 6 but when I try to back up onto my Mac there is no icon, just a grey icon (see screenshot) which is has a .ne6b extension. Can anyone help please?

Is that bad (no icon)? Can the file be used for a restore? If yes, there is no problem...

No way to check as I'll be taking the backup out of the country to a hired keyboard.

the icon doesn't have anything to do with the data and the file will function just fine without it. Technically the icon lives as an attached sidecar resource file and can be stripped without affecting the actual file data. For instance, if you send a Mac file to a PC that icon info is lost and NOT used on the PC.
Why the icon file association is broken on your Mac is a different issue, but you can re-build the file association pretty easily.

We discussed this recently
nord-electro-forum-f9/icon-problem-with ... 23745.html (a search would have pointed you there): the .ne6b extension for some seems "resistent" to the icon reassigment in Mac OS; forget about it and just use the file in NSM as usual.
