Icon Problem with Nord Sound Manager

Hallo,
when I use my Stag3 with the Nord Sound manager I get the normal icons used for the different File types. If I do so with the Electro6d I get only gray standard icons for the files...what is wrong...I am using the same Macbook and the same software. The Instruments are updated... I will include a screenshot.

Can anybody help...don`t know how to solve the problem to get the same file symbols as with the Stage...and it is very hard to distinguish which file is which without the correct icon...

Hello and welcome to NUF

You seem to have the .ne6b extension not associated with NSM, to fix that you can follow this guide https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/how-to ... -in-macos/ (see in particular how to change the default app from the Get Info menu of the file)

I did the change in the Information window, but the files newly created with the NSM stay neutral gray...? Don't know what to do, because with the Stage3 it works normally

The icons for "Sample" work correctly but Program, Bundle and Backup are still gray, even if I say: Change all at the information window...I am really going mad...

Don't know, another possibility is that there is another app associated to .ne6b extension.

PS: did you apply the modification to all files ( "Alle andern..." button under the app selection in Get Info)?

Yes, I did tell the Mac to apply the mod to all files...but the only file type which is shown correctly are the samples files...tho others stay gray...really tried everything and donator know what to try further...there must something wrong with the suffixes...

Yes, I know this way of changing the icon...but I have to do it manually every time loaded something from the NSM ...dirctly from the load only gray standard icons are shown.

I don+t want to change every file icon by hand, because the Mac doesn't do it by itself.

as soon as I plug in the stage3 everthing works as it should...I have deleted the icon cache by using the terminal command...but it stays wrong...I am at the end of my capabilities concerning Mac internal software problems...
by the way ..its the only problem encountered using the MacBook...there must be a solution, but I haven't found it yet. I is very nerving!!!
