This may sound like a very "stupid" question but I'll take a shot...
I own a Nord Stage 3 88. Basically I mostly use the piano and organ section when I'm playing with my band. To be honest I havent utilized the synth/sample section much at all since I'm not a synth player from the beginning. I've started to explore some synth/sample sounds since not all songs fit with regular piano or organ sounds. We play mostly rock/pop from 60's and forward. Anyways.. what I'm struggling with is that I cannot find/create a good synth/sample sound that is a "go-to" program for some of the songs. Something "generic/common" that I can use in some of the songs (that does not include piano or organ) and also easily modify a little bit?
I know this may sound odd but I'm curious to hear if anyone have any "go-to" synth sounds to share (biult-in programs?)
