GK-76-SLIM Gator case for Stage 3 88
The interior dimensions of the GK-76-SLIM case from Gator is 51″ x 12.5″ x 5″. This appears to fit the Stage 3 88 perfectly, with the exception of the depth, being about 1/2" too short. Has anyone tried it with a Stage 3 88? Would it squeeze in? I have the non-slim version of this case (GK-76) and it's just too big. The 88 slim version is also a compromise and too big in all dimensions, although probably better than the GK76 that I have now. Do I really need to shell out the $500 for The Nord bag? I can't believe between the bag and the triple pedal, I'm could be spending nearly an additional $1000!

I haven't had too much luck with third party bags for Nords. I guess I've just gotten used to including the cost of the required Nord bag as part of the overall transaction.

I bought a Gator Pro Go Slim 61 for my Wave 2 and it fits perfectly. Much better protection than the Nord bags which cost much more. Also better than the GK models, but more expensive-

I guess the original question was if the GK-76-SLIM Gator case would fit the NS3 88 (not the Wave 2).DJKeys wrote:I bought a Gator Pro Go Slim 61 for my Wave 2 and it fits perfectly. Much better protection than the Nord bags which cost much more. Also better than the GK models, but more expensive-

I have a 76 GK case, but I'm not sure if it's the slim version (because I bought it second hand on the internet).
edit: after searching on the Gatorcases website (and use the " Case Finder" button), I guess mine is the GTSA-KEY76.
For the lenght it fits perfectly but for the depth, I have to place the carpet pieces with velcro to keep it in place.
The Nord Stage 2 and Nord Stage have the exact same dimensions.
But I'm very happy that I've made the chang from the Nord bag/case to the GK-76!

In the end, after a painful amount of research, I'm buying the Nord GB88 bag, which is fortunately now on sale for $499. Still a nauseating amount to spend, but a lot better than $699. Thanks for the input!
