I'll try to explain this--I'm an experienced user of my Nord Stage 3 HP76, and have created lots of patches and combinations, but there's a couple of things I don't know how to do, or if they can be done. I'd like to create a patch which has a synth on panel A in the lower keys, and a layer of two synths on the upper keys--and if possible, I'd like to have one of the layers only play when I am using a higher velocity, and not when I am playing that section of the keyboard lightly. So I am once voice short--I know that you can put up to 6 sounds on a patch, but it seems you can only put a combination of piano/organ/synth to each panel, not two organs or two synths on one panel. My particular use case is that I play some chords on a user sample synth w my left hand, while playing a melodic figure on my right in the upper register. I'd like to add two synth voices in a layer for my right hand, one is a simple sine with portamento, and the other would be a bell like sample, played when I use more force or more volume.
I don't think this is possible, and I am considering using the extern section and my iPad, but I can't test this yet, as I have misplaced my ipad connector dongle (which I just put away two days ago--yikes). And I'd rather not do this, anyway, because my ipad mostly serves as my music stand, lyric sheet, set list, etc.
If anyone has the answer here, either that it can't be done as I've described it, or there is a way, please let me know, and I will be extremely grateful.
