Piano bank empty after v2.62 update on NE 6D

Hello,
I bought a second hand nord electro 6d a few days ago.
I did a factory reset. No problem so far (I'm using mac OS Monterey 12.6)

Then I installed the latest v2.62 update. And today, when I turned on my Nord
Electro, I noticed that the entire piano sound bank has disappeared (the
screen displays “piano not found”). No problem on the organ and the
sample synth banks.
I decided to reinstall the OS. But the process gets stuck at the “restoring
piano partition” step on nord sound manager, and “cleaning” step on the nord
electro screen.
Impossible to update or restore, the procedure always blocks at the same
time.

I finally tried to download one single piano sound from nordkeyboards website, and an
error message was displayed : "download failed: CReqCreateFile failed:
FFSFail (22)"

have you ever encountered this problem ?

Hi,

there maybe a problem with the piano memory which is separated from the one for the synth samples … would be something a Nord service center should look at.

This is not a good news in my eyes. Was that piano sample problem known to the seller? I'd contact the seller and a tech (or the national distributor for an address of a service center).

Hm... Probably the seller did not see this problem before, otherwise how would Funkypopol be able to restore to factory? The error would have shown then.

"Gets stuck" means how long? At least in the NS2 to write to memory takes a long time, if the current issue involves reformatting the RAM I guess it would also take some time to finish?

Have you tried forcing the instrument to update the OS? Switch on with Store + Shift buttons pressed.
Or perhaps try to load an old version of the OS first.
