Re: Rotor pedal
I think the most recommended here is the Neo Instruments Vent for actual rotary speaker sounds, or do you mean the sustain/rotor pedal? I use a Roland DP 10

Re: Rotor pedal
I use a Boss FS-5L that landed in my lap secondhand.
Pros: Has its own LED to indicate latching/on status. Depending on your playing style and venue, it can stand out more than the keyboard's LED on the far left. Physically links to my sustain pedal (Boss FS-5U) for a compact, neat solution.
Cons: It can get out of sync with your Nord (indicating "on" when it's not) if it's "on" when you change patches. (Personally, not that big a deal to re-sync.) It also needs a 9V battery to work... but the battery lasts forever. Seven years and counting.

Re: Rotor pedal
I think you can use it also without the battery, the behaviour instead depends if you set Rotor Pedal as Toggle or Hold in the keyboard System menu.PScooter63 wrote:I use a Boss FS-5L that landed in my lap secondhand.

Re: Rotor pedal
I DO use "Toggle" - if I used Hold, I could just use another FS-5U. Thanks for the tip about the battery, I have yet to try without it!maxpiano wrote:I think you can use it also without the battery, the behaviour instead depends if you set Rotor Pedal as Toggle or Hold in the keyboard System menu.PScooter63 wrote:I use a Boss FS-5L that landed in my lap secondhand.

Re: Rotor pedal
I think that you need to design it so the switch is handy (i.e. near the keyboard panel) to avoid having to change it constantly from one to the other function.
But all that hassle to avoid adding a 2nd pedal?
What if you want to apply both Rotor and Sustain?
