This 'unofficial' Forum is dedicated to the Clavia Nord Keyboards, including the Nord Stage, Nord Electro and Nord Piano. Discuss any issues around Nord's keyboards, share your favorite patches, samples, and music. We are not affiliated with Clavia!
The internet can be an ugly place. As a long time lurker and occasional poster I just want to say thank you to this community. You are respectful, seek to help and I consistently get solid info on products whether they are painted red or not!
Please all take a moment to pat yourselves on the back and know that you are appreciated!!

I second that (or would that be third that ). Its one of not many forums I'm part of for these very reasons and have had some great conversation and read many interesting threads here.
It did used to be a little more active though and I miss coming back every other day to read something new under discussion. Possibly the slow down of new samples and products have had a factor in this but still, long may it live!!

Yep it’s true. This is a polite and very useful forum. Especially to new users, which is when its most needed.
I recently bought a Hydrasynth and asked a simple question on a Hydrasynth forum. That there was not an answer for in the manual, and at first got nasty unhelpful incorrect replies, I did finally get the info I needed. I removed myself from that forum.
Im glad were not like that here.

Yeah I think this forum indirectly (or not so indirectly after all) adds much value to Nord products overall. You do feel more encouraged to buy a Nord when you know you can count on a place like this to exchange ideas and get and give help.

hi agree with that too. This forum helped me a lot to switch to Nord.

On a whim, I recently perused the "Nord Keyboard Users" public group on The Facebook and was dismayed to see the the large number of people seeking help and and almost equally large number of people posting poor advice. It made me appreciate the quality of advice given here too. I don't recommend FB for Nord advice: I found the "signal to noise ratio" on advice to be very poor. --I did however see some outstanding performance videos.
Thanks to Jeffmac for bringing this up, and to Johannes and the moderators for their continuing stewardship of Nord User Forum.

With so much rudeness and agression all over the web, this forum is the place to be. Nobody will ever offend you, even if you post the most silly question, and all members are so willing to help wich is very rare in those competitive times we live. Higly skilled proffessionals and amateur begginers all over the world in a big international familly! thank you all for keeping this alive!
