Volume Pedal Control
This is my first time in the forum. I have a Piano 5 and there is a Key Ped button and a place for an input jack. I want to be able to adjust the volume with a foot pedal. Is that what these features do and what kind of a pedal do I need? I think I need an "expression pedal" not a volume tyoe pedal. Is that right? I think the keyboard has to be set to work with the pedal I choose? Is that correct? I think I have seen references to the Roland EV-7 but that seems to longer be made. Does Roland EV-5 work? Any suggestions other than these questions? Thank you.

Hello redleader7. This might not be the anwer you are hoping for, but I suggest you take less than 15 minutes to read the manual. It was written precisely to answer these kinds of questions. If you don't understand something there, feel free to ask us for help.

Korg XVP-10 or XVP-20. And make sure to use a TRS cable which has „Stereo Jacks“ at both ends.redleader7 wrote:… Any suggestions other than these questions? Thank you.
You‘re welcome.

Re: Volume Pedal Control
I would recommend Yamaha FC-7. Volume control by Pedal is activated by Button "VOL PED" in Piano and/or Synth section. (See manual p.10, p.13 and p.26)
