During programming, I have found that the Save Synth feature is a fantastic way to develop a variety of basic synth textures that can be added to programs later as needed. I can save the basic strings, brass, Sawtooth synth, pulse wave synth, mono lead, etc as needed, name them descriptively and then call them up later when I need those sounds in a program. I can then use the filters and mods to further change them to fit the needs of the particular program. I have about ten basic sounds I use, and they are easily visible in the Nord Sound Manager.
Anyone else using this? I don't think I could live without it...
