Hi, sorry if I missed this elsewhere in the interverse...
What pedals can be used for a rotary pedal on the electro 3?
links?
While I'm here. What does the control input do? is there a pedal for that? which can be used?
And is there a triple pedal that works with the electro 3?

Re: rotary pedals for electro 3
Hello, and welcome to the Forum. I'd suggest reading the manual to learn more on using the control pedal, but something like a Yamaha FC7 can be used to adjust various parameters, such as the piano level. The rotary effect can be toggled with something like the Yamaha FC5. The Yamaha FC4a is a nice sustain pedal. Good luck to you.

If you mean external pedals, The Neo Instruments Vent or Mini Vent and the Electro Harmonix Lester K are well regarded rotary pedals. Welcome to the forum Bagus.

Any foot switch is usable - either normally open or normally closed (to be set in the System settings). WannitBBBad has given an example that I would use, too. Some sustain pedals are electrically switches, too.Bagus wrote:What pedals can be used for a rotary pedal on the electro 3?
Have you been reading the manual? "A connected control pedal can be used to control several things. It can be used as a solitary organ swell pedal (swell is a combination of volume and frequency control), as a combined organ swell/volume pedal for the samples type, and finally as a swell/volume pedal for all the instrument sections (incl. the pianos) in the Nord Electro 3.Bagus wrote:What does the control input do? is there a pedal for that? which can be used?
Range: O – Organ swell (default), S – Organ swell/sample volume, P - Organ swell/sample volume, piano volume
(i) A connected control pedal will always be active if the P-Wa or the RM effect is activated, regardless of the Ctrl Pedal Mode setting."
I can't tell you more than that. No idea, if swell or volume control won't work as long as Wah is attributed to the pedal.
I don't think the Electro 3 supports soft pedal or sostenuto. Nor does it support half pedal sustain, let alone pedal noise. So no use for any triple pedal.Bagus wrote:And is there a triple pedal that works with the electro 3?
