Broken output sockets
My instrument is a Nord Stage 2EX HP76
The output sockets have failed on both ChA and ChB - they simply broke!
I have owned several keyboards over the years and this has never happened before.
Has anyone else had similar issues and is there an upgraded replacement for this clearly weak part?

Re: Broken output sockets
the parts aren’t weak. yes there are replacement parts. For both connectors to fail at the same time, almost 100% probability the cables plugged into the unit were yanked, or stepped on, or the keyboard was knocked over.

Re: Broken output sockets
Are the connectors physically damaged? Please post a picture. As stated, it is very difficult to physically damage those jacks.Gibbs59 wrote:My instrument is a Nord Stage 2EX HP76

Did they just stop producing sound?
Have you tested the other outputs?
More details would certainly help.

Re: Broken output sockets
Hi Gibbs,
as for any reason why several sockets could break at the same time I‘m with the posters of above - I would check the plugs and the handling.
Here‘s an american supplier for the parts:
https://syntaur.com/keyboard.php?keyboard=2318
As far as the UK is concerned I‘d contact the local distributor.
Cheers from Germany

Re: Broken output sockets
I had the same issue on my A1 on one of the audio out sockets. You're right, those sockets are weak(er than some idiot (me) picking up the keyboard and trying to walk away with it while the audio cables were still plugged in)
