midi question
I have a NE5. I want to split the keyboard and have bass on lower part and organ on upper. I bought an ios piano for my ipad and I want to layer it with the organ. The problem is the ios piano (Ravenscroft) doesn't shift octaves and its one octave above where it should be to layer with the organ. Also I use a control pedal for the organ swell and I don't want that to affect the piano. The Ravenscroft won't let you block controllers. I send midi through the upper part midi out so it sets the range for the ipad piano. Any ideas on how to lower the piano an octave and block foot pedal volume data? I may just have to get a different ios piano that has more options for control, but I like the way the Ravenscroft sounds. Maybe some kind of app to transpose midi an octave and block the volume pedal? I don't want to buy a NE6 just for the third part.

Re: midi question
you'll want to get a midi processor.
Something like a MidiSolutions Event Processor http://midisolutions.com/prodevp.htm or Event Processor Plus http://midisolutions.com/prodepp.htm

Re: midi question
You can use Camelot Pro on the iPad and run Rav275 as an AU plugin inside it; Camelot can handle all types of MIDI Split/Layer and CC filtering you need + also control your NE5 (if you want), manage setlists with attachments... many other things, for a quite low price, take a look at https://audiomodeling.com/camelot/overview/westcoast wrote:I have a NE5.
