Hallo friends,
I just got a simple question concerning the headphone out on the nord rack 1 (or Nord Lead 1). When powering on the unit with Headphones plugged in, I get a popping noise. This doesn‘t happen with the regular outputs L/R. Is this normal? Has clavia only installed a mute transistor for the regular outputs and not for the headphone output?
Thanks a lot guys, I just wanna make sure everything works as is should.

Re: Nord Lead/Rack 1 owners, headphone out
I can't speak for the original Nord Lead (what some call the "Nord Lead 1" but isn't), but in most cases the headphone outs have a different amplifier topology than the line outs and charge to a higher DC midpoint voltage so it's very typical that headphone outs pop audibly when line outs don't. This wouldn't surprise me in the least as being normal.

Hallo friends,
can‘t nobody of you nord lead/nord rack 1 owners test the headphone out while turning the unit on? Please guys, I am a real perfectionist when it comes to my gear.
Thank you guys and all the best
