Sustain pedal -1/4" jack issue

Post by chipnelson »

hey all - I have a Nord Electro 5 76 HD and I have a sustain pedal problem. Its not the pedal or configuration it seems to be internal like a circuit board connected to the 1/4" jack. Its like it got stressed and cracked or semi-broke a solder joint. Any thoughts or parts I should order before I open her up to identify the problem? It's defiantly not the pedal, polarity or incompatibility. I'm using the single Nord Sustain pedal now but have tried them all. I can get the sustain pedal to work but it requires me to play with the 1/4" male insert.

If moving the male makes it work, you may just need to have the jack resoldered, no parts needed. Otherwise contact your country Nord distributor (see list on Nord website) for the part.
