Hi Guys,
I do perform with two bands, and depending on the song and the night, I might have one singer or another (or even a 3rd one). Every singer require specific keys for some songs, not all. The workaround is to store the same program with 3 or 4 different keys. Example: Grand Royal -1 (minus 1 key) or +1 (You need to name it Pl1, because there is no symbol + in the letters).
I would like to suggest the following to Nord (I sent an email to them already)
1- can you add a '+' character to existing letters/symbols? it is practical to be used renaming patches (you have already a minus -, why not a plus+?)
2- In song mode, it would be great to add a transpose gauge per part/panel (same as you have with layers and splits, but transpose per part allowing to have a quick view of the transposition). This is useful to have more flexible songs mode, and made the changes at song level and not program level.
See attached file for ilustration purposes only.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

Yes neomad, in my opinion, you are right. I think also that the "transpose" is a song attribute. I use also programs that differs with transpose only. Not very practical. Nord please think about it.

Re: Feature Request Song Mode Transposition per part
Indeed Paul. However I understand the song function is more a 'index' rather than a program grouping patches. Song is only indexing patches together under a common 'song' name. Well, this can be clearly enhanced with a few things and all the workstations or multitimbral synths I had for the last 30 years have a similar function of transposing parts individually within a 'combi', 'multi', 'mix' or similar (depending on the brand).
I wrote to Nord the same day, pointing out this post. Hopefully they can implement something soon. This will be a life / time saver for many of us.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Feature Request Song Mode Transposition per part
Wish list: a proper song mode, having the possibility to make changes per section and for both panels without affecting the original programs:
Essential:
-Zones
-Pitch :Coarse Fine +/- 48 semitones
-Pitch: Transpose octaves
-Pan: L and R
------------------
Nice to have:
-Velocity curve
-Midi channel
This will help to get rid of my other keyboards that are way more flexible for that.
