Keyboard split doesn't work with MIDI controller

Hi All

I successfully connected my Casio PX-320 to my Nord Electro 6 73 following the manual instructions via MIDI.

My Casio has fully weighed keys, and would like to use it to play piano sounds on the Nortd.

The split does not seem to be working - both boards play the same voice, even with I assign piano to lower (red key is showing), green for upper/Nord.

Suggestions? Thanks

Hi BobbieG,

We covered this on the phone, but for the benefit of others in the forum -- when trying to use the EXTERN KBD TO LO function, it is important to actually set the voice which you wish to be playing from the external controller to LO and not UP. Also, turn Global Midi channel OFF to avoid possible conflicts
