Nord lead 4 signal

I'm messing with my synth and i can see that i can barely hear the sound of my signal even when all the volume up on the nord and up at my mixer, if i put the gain up it works, but i'm not sure if the signal is that weak, i can barely hear the signal if im running other devices in my studio. does anyone can help me with these doubts? i'd appreciated it
