Unison Multi Stage 2 - how to achieve on Stage 3?

Post by Schorsch »

Hi,

the Stage 2 synth section offers for Unison the options 1,2 or 3 and in addition a Multi option for all three. The Stage 3 synth section also offers Unison 1, 2 or 3 but Multi is missing. Unison on Stage 3 sounds different than on Stage 2 but I could not get any to sound like the Multi option. Is there a way to achieve the Multi sound on a Stage 3?

I don't think there is a way to obtain that, I am afraid; different synth architecture so different sounds (in general) and that feature (generation of multiple detuned Osc copies) is simply not there.
You can maybe try to get something similar by adding a lot of Chorus (not the same but...).

Yes I tried the Chorus already, it’s getting close but not really where it should be, and it steals the chorus option for the piano section where I need it as well for some sounds on both panels. But thanks for your feedback, Max !
