NS3C more velocity curves

Post by dfresh25 »

Have people already requested nord to put more velocity curves as an update? Any status on that?

I find myself loving the pianos when I go through an external weighted MIDI board, but using the compact itself still leaves something to be desired. The wurly/rhodes I can dial in using the velocity curves given. I find that using any of the lighter velocity touches for Acoustic piano patches is just going the wrong direction. It would be great to have more harder curves for piano. I realize the semi-weighted keys aren't the most ideal for Acoustic piano, but I still feel like there are more dynamics to be had if there would just be other curve options.

This may already have been discussed, but this and a pending load feature are things I am keeping my eye out for. The NS3 seems like such a complete instrument, these are just some minor things that I'd love to add. Thanks for reading and let me know if any of you have any insight on this.

Studiologic SL88 Studio

It's quite nice. I've tried it through Roland A88, Yamaha P105 and now the Sl88. SL88 definitely plays the nicest with the Nord. I think I have it set on the hard curve and it works really well. The SL is cool that you can even define your own user curves. Even though I never needed to. I've been using this for about 9 months now. Hope that helps
