Announcement regarding Nord C2D

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I wish to give notice that as of today, I received information concerning the Nord C2e. It has been officially discontinued by Clavia Nord and as such no stock is coming in to the UK. Therefore if you're looking for a new C2D within the UK or anywhere else for that fact, check with your dealer if they have in stock, if it's a website and it claims it's in stock, query it with the company as you may find that you might not receive one or the company hasn't updated information.

With this, Nord has not issued the C2D on the website as "Discontinued, but this information is confirmed by the UK Importer through my dealer that the C2D no longer exists.

Clarified information, This has officially been discontinued, No further stock being supplied by nord. Period. just had this information through my dealer direct from the UK importer who stated that it's not just us it's worldwide.

It's been a popular organ here. shame no more stock. bugger.

This is pure speculation, There is no direct evidence to this.

I do agree that it would be nice for a C3D to come out, however, there may be reasons behind it's end... such as lack of significant sales / popularity against competing models, etc.

I got this today from Thomann, which had shown the C2D as sold out. I asked if there would be a restock. The reply - "The requested item is sold out and we are not expecting to receive it in the future."

Interesting that only one poster here shows C2d in their fleet. Is it a high volume product? My impression is that there are more stages and electros than C2ds in the wild.

Several US retailers show the C2D as being available, including Sweetwater, for which it had been out of stock:

Perhaps it is just remaining inventory at the US distributor, but it appears still to be available at time of this posting.
