Huge price drop NL4...is the NL5 coming?

More and more shops sell the NL4 for €1400. Normal price was around €1800.

Are this signs for the upcoming release of the NL5?

I don't think so. I just think they are not selling it and want to get rid of stock.
I mean, in Thomann Lead 4 and A1 are the sime price, weirdly...
But here in Sweden all dealers have it at the old price (11990 A1 and 15490 4)

I wish it was true, aside from the disastrous effects choices and lack of shape parameter for all waves Lead 4 was golden.
Change that and relabel as Lead 5 and I'm sold

Something is happening. In 90% of the shops price drops. Big online dealers have just 1 or 2 in stock. Also in a lot of online shops the page of the NL4 is labeled with “Last change”.
I think something is coming. I expect Nord will present a new synth on Namm 2020!

Thomann Germany is still selling the NL4 at 1.849€ and no information like “last chance” or something like this, same at Musicstore .... A1 is much cheaper at 1.399€, so again nothing like NL4 and A1 at the same price

Just checked, and pricing is all over the map in the US. MSRP is $2,249, like-new B-stock at $1100. Huge spread. Looks like otherwise new units are having their boxes opened to be sold as B-stock.

In Greece A1 costs 1444 (from 1783) and L4 1925 (from 2200) B stock 1769.

At Thomann's it's back to the usual €1875.
Maybe the price drop was to get rid of old stock while they waited for the new shipment?
