Rotary Speaker on NS3

Post by Hillel »

I have a question regarding the NS3, hope someone can answer.
I need to know if the Rotary speeds can be alter differently per layer, for example:
I want on layer A to have a Piano with Rotary speaker on fast, and on Layer B have the Rotary on Slow on the the B3.
Would changing the Rotary speed button can work independently in each layer or they are linked?
Any answer would be appreciated :-)

I am afraid you cannot do that, because Rotary is a Global (common) effect; it is like a single "virtual Leslie", even if on NS3 you can select and mix 2 inputs (one per panel) the effect unit (and its commands) is still just just one.

PS: kalimera and welcome to NUF ;)

Thx @maxpiano for the reply and the welcome.
It is a pity it is not really fully dual independent Leslie cabinets, i thought they finished with global effects as they did with the reverb and the compressor.
To be honest the Nord NS3 advertised capabilities is a bit misleading on that matter in my opinion :-(
