2.0 update causes loud pop between program switch

Anyone else noticing this? Never happened before update and doesn't happen every time. But every few changes, especially switching from live 1 or 2 to a program makes a loud pop for me.

Hi,

I wrote about the same behaviour few threads below. Did some testings and for me the pop sound appears only when some of the new v6 EP samples are in use. I've replaced all v6 EP samples by v5.3 and no problems so far. I've created also ticket for the Nord support.

Can you post the procedure to reproduce that pop, so we can tell you if we got it too ?

I also mentioned in a different thread this issue. Seems to happen when I switch from one patch to another, both of which have the piano engine active where one is using a new V6 electric piano and the other using one that isn't. Doesn't always happen, but it does happen frequently. Hopefully there's a 2.01 coming soon with a bug fix to address it.

Bugs in the update 2.0 software
I installelled 0S 2.0 for my Electro 6 and when i put new patches in the
soundmanager 7.40 sometimes the Electro 6 and the Sounddmanager Crashed.
Sometimes with terible (hard) noise.

@o002kis: I don't think your issue has anything to do with the original problem reported in this thread. Anyway, Nord released version 7.42 of the Sound Manager; you COULD try to see if that fixes the problems you have?

Happening to my NE5. Happened at the worst possible time - playing in a musical all month with a ton of mid-song program changes and I spent a couple hours reorganizing my programs/setlists and adding new sounds when I installed the update, so even if I could revert back to the old OS (no idea if that's possible) I'd have to rebuild those with the old sounds.

I've never dealt with an issue like this with a nord, should we all be submitting bug reports to Clavia so they give a fix priority? I really hope it happens soon.

You could use Nord sound manager and substitute command to replace the v6 EP samples with previous ones. All your programs will remain unchanged (except the EP sound of course, which could sound differently) However I didn't notice too much difference in old and new EP samples. In my opinion there isn't any pops during sound change, when you're using v5.3 EP samples.

I sent my second tech support inquiry to the Nord website today after not hearing back. Has anyone gotten any word from them regarding this bug?
