Nord Stage 3 sustain settings

Post by Tracktor »

Hello!

I just switched to Nord Stage 3 from Yamaha PSR S700.
I want to setup something like "sustain button" in Yamaha on piano or other instruments (i.e. auto sustain without a sustain pedal).
Can I set this and how can i do this on Nord Stage 3?

Sorry for my bad english.

Hi, no you cannot do that on the Piano section, only on the Synth Section (KB Hold button).

NS3 is an advanced Stage Piano, a pretty different instrument compared to the PSR you had, it is designed to mimic the behaviour of each original instrument it emulates (and neither a real Piano or an Organ have such "sustain switch"), you need to get used to this approach.

As a workaround, you may use a switch pedal plugged into the Sustain Pedal port, if you really need that.
