Accompanying the enhanced EPs are brand new EP Filters exclusively designed for our vintage Electric Pianos to broaden your sonic palette. The dedicated EP filters include 5 modes: Soft, Mid, Bright, Dyno 1 and Dyno 2 .

Nice to see these EQ enhancements, though. One of the limitations of the EPs has been that, at least to me, they really needed EQ... and once you put EQ on an EP to make it sound the way you wanted, you were still left with two problems. One is, the EQ was then not available for any other sounds on the same panel. Second was that, any time you wanted your EP, you had to navigate to one of your saved programs to get it (i.e. calling up an EP from the front panel could never get you the EP you really wanted). Hopefully, these EQ settings will address all that, if we can really get closer to the basic EQs we're after without having to rely on the main EQ controls to get there.

I'm assuming that the new Soft/Mid/Bright EQs are for the Wurlis as well, though that isn't entirely clear.

Yep, Wurlis have the EQs as well. Amazing update from Nord.

Not fully explored yet, but I do like the new synth display as well.

So Far, this is the most significant Update, since NS3 release, thanks and congrats Clavia!!
Now we expect just minor fine tuning, like clavinet full eq, wurlitzer XL files same way Rhodes, Piano minors adjustments, etc.
But glad to see how Nord still cares!

Nevermind... Sorry... I realized that you have to go to the Update History to see all of the changes.

No, there are many other changes/fixes. The pitch bend now also allows a much larger range. And the filters have been tweaked also for acoustic piano/soft setting. And there are many UI tweaks in the Synth section.
