Dual KB STRANGE issue: sustained notes - NS3 and Akai MPC249

Hi dear friends,
I have a VERY strange issue. I use Dual KB a lot, and it's great. Until now, I worked with Korg Mikrokontrol (midi out to my NS3), no problems.
Now, I am connecting Akai MPK249 midi Out to NS3 Midi in, and when I hit a note, any note, it is sustained forever. It's like there is no "note off" message. When I am connecting my other kids controller, everything is fine, but with this Akai unit - the notes keep playing all the time, until I press Panic on the Nord.
The strangest thing is that when I connect this Akai to my RME midi interface, to Ableton, with the same MIDI cable (not USB!), the same keyboard plays very wall, no issues, no sustained notes.
So I think that the problem is that the Nord reads something particular from this Akai keyboard controller, or does not read its "note off" commands. I don't know.
Anyone have encountered this? Any ideas?
If I am not clear with my explanation of the problem please tell me, and I will elaborate and will try to be more clear.
Thank you!
Yohay
