Re: NS3 88 - half moon switch
In the Nord Stage 3 specifications and manual Nord clearly states that the Half Moon switch accessory is only for NS3 Compact, ask yourself why...

Re: NS3 88 - half moon switch
You cannot mount it to the NS3 88 since the mounting holes are missing, these are available on the Compact only (that’s why Nord says that the half moon switch is available for the Compact only). I think it will work if you connect it to the rotor pedal connection in terms of functioning correctly (Slow, Stop, Fast), cannot imagine that the option to select a half Moon Switch is removed by the OS when it’s running on the NS3 88 or HP76.

Re: NS3 88 - half moon switch
I think instead that's what happens, I don't own a NS3 so asking if any owner may check that, however the firmware can detect which version is it running on (and it is even possible that the Rotor Pedal jack is electrically different i.e. "stereo" on the Compact, mono on 76 and 88).Hervshahn wrote:You cannot mount it to the NS3 88 since the mounting holes are missing, these are available on the Compact only (that’s why Nord says that the half moon switch is available for the Compact only). Re: NS3 88 - half moon switch
Yes you are correct, maxpiano ... my assumption was wrong
The manual of the NS3 says
this allows you to change the type/polarity of a switch pedal connected to control ROTOR PEDAL input, in case the functionality of a connected pedal is reversed. on the Nord Stage 3 Compact model, this can also be set to Half Moon Switch.
