Deleting instruments and program banks

Hi all - just a theoretical ques.
I'm in the process of deleting some piano voices I dont need to free up space to download others. I havent done much in using program banks so far so they are pretty much default factory settings. So my question is, lets say I delete Velvet Grand and there is a program bank that uses the Velvet Grand - if i select the bank, does it just not use any piano or does it put another piano in?

It just doesn't have a piano.
You can fix that en masse in the Sound Editor, by entering another piano instead.
Will get strange if the Lady D program doesn't have the Lady D piano sample, but that's a minor thing to fix later.
