setlistmaker/Bandhelper

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

setlistmaker/Bandhelper

Post by venro »

I'm still hesitating to change to one of these programs. I'm using Guitartapp Pro on all platforms and it contains a few hundred songs in Chordpro format.
The only (but important) drawback is the lacking of Midi support.

My questions:
Can I easily import all these songs,
what cable do I need to connect my Android tablet with my Nord E5,
Can I use the Learn mode to import the Midi instructions (just changing my Nord songselections)

Thanks in advance,

I'm trying Bandhelper for ipad right now, it can learn midi from my Stage 2.
I don't know how you can import songs from your software.
To connect from Android i think you will need an USB OTG adapter, to transform from micro b Usb( on your tablet) to usb type A, and then with a cable like those for printers usb A to usb B to the Electro 5.
Good luck

Hi, I am also using BandHelper on my iPad but haven’t tried to import Chrodpro formats. I suggest to visit the support and FAQ sections on the BandHelper web page to check if there is information available about this, register to the BandHelper forum )also accessible from the web page) and check there or send an email to Arlo (the one who created and maintains the software) and ask him directly
