Hello folks,
I have a specific question regarding simultaneous MIDI in for my Nord Stage 2 Compact and hope you can help me. Several years ago, there was apparently another thread to a similar question (see link below). However, as my user case is a little more specific / different, I'd like to get your opinion on that:

• I use Band Helper (can't recommend it enough! Awesome!) on my iPhone to conveniently administrate Playlists and switch programs on my Nord Stage 2. Thus, I have connected my iPhone via USB
• I'd like to use a hammer-weighted keyboard controller (Studiologic VMK-161 Plus) on bottom of my Nord stage 2 to control Dual Keyboard mode. Connected via trational MIDI cable to MIDI in port.

My question now (MIDI confuses me a little): Can I set up my NS2 in a way that it will receive Program Change messages via USB (say: USB Channel 1), and at the same time play the notes one of the two slots in Dual Keyboard mode that I trigger with my Keyboard Controller?

In case my question is very trivial and easily done, sorry for wasting your time and not having investigated enough.

Pretty simple, set the MIDI Global Channel to USB1 and the desired Slot A/B (or DualKeyb) to MIDI 1 (or any channel your master uses) .

Suggestion: read the Nord Stage MIDI Tutorial available in the Downloads section of this forum.
