Why do People Hide the Nord Logo on the Nord ?

There's no need to. You might want to if you don't want to appear to be endorsing them (especially if you are actually endorsing some other brand), or if you have an objection to offering a company free publicity, or if you think it's visually distracting in the context of your presentation.

I have done a few shows that were nationally televised and if the products in use are not endorsement partners or paying for advertisement, there is a legal aspect that the brand name should be obscured. I had a stage manager walk over and place black gaffer tape over the logo of my keyboard. Some people just like to cover it up for personal reasons.

Thanks For the responses , All really Good ! Even the Madona one ! I Work in Production . and even if you work in production i find it funny how i dont know some of these things. I Like seeing the Nord Logo . Its a proud Symbol to me You pay alot of money for the keyboard. So Let the Logo Shine !

The production had the whole backline (including the MacBooks Pro) custom-painted or stickered in black. NOT by the keys players.
It was done by Bruce Forat.

It may be a broadcaster or producer's policy, and I guess could be a "legal" issue in the sense that it could be in the contract between the parties, but there is no "law" that prevents logos from being displayed unless there is compensation.
