Is posible send midi only when keyboard is muted?

Is posible to control a external module with the nord, but only when the part is muted??

Example I play split bass / piano. and i have a external synth. I want only when I mute the piano, starts to sound the external module,
Is that posible?

So you're using an Electro 5, and you want the Upper part of a split to transmit MIDI, but only when no internal sound is assigned to Upper? No, there is no such function.
