Wondering if anyone here has a Nord stage compact setup and a Korg Kronos , and if they’re triggering sounds from the korg .
My idea is that , I’d like to take my Nord stage 3 compact and use the 88 keys of the Kronos for my acoustic piano sounds of the Nord and to also layer the Kronos sounds for orchestral strings and brass ... is that possible to play the Kronos sounds while playing the Nord stage sounds all from the keyboard of the Kronos ?
Anyone triggering Kronos ?

Re: Anyone triggering Kronos ?
Yes, connect midi cables to the back of the Stage 3 and Kronos and select a channel to send/receive midi data. The Kronos will trigger your Stage 3 (send channels 1 and 2 out of your Stage 3 to FOH). Also, choose your Kronos program to play at the same time and connect channels 1 and 2 on the Kronos to FOH. You will have both playing at the same time while only playing the Kronos keys.

Yes, you can do that. Create a Kronos Combi that includes whatever Kronos timbre(s) you want to play from the Kronos and also includes an EXT timbre set to transmit on the MIDI channel that you have the Nord set for (for external triggering of its piano sound).
