Just one word to say, Thanks Nord, great update... And the problem i mentioned to nord with Piano: Improved response when using both Panels and playing many notes, has been heard.

Now I know what the E means :-)
I read the manual yesterday, but did not find it.

The “E” symbol is now used to indicate all “dirty” states, instead of the asterisk (*).

At this point I have programmed a few sounds that I need for gigs, so what is the process for backing up presets on the Stage 3 before I try the update?

That is a great question. I tried doing a full backup the other night and after 45 minutes it failed. I hope the answer isn't to do a full backup! LOL It would be great if we could just backup our programs, songs, Live settings.

Well that's discouraging.

So this is all handled with the Sound Manager, I'm assuming?

Not that I'm suggesting you shouldn't do a backup, but doing a firmware update shouldn't erase your presets.

Just ctrl-select the programs you want and upload them to your computer. If your samples don't change, this is fast and easy-
