Hi,
I've just bought an electro 3 new, and when using headphones only the acoustic pianos sound properly with an added amp effect; the e pianos, wurlitzer, clavs and organ sound very faint (and don't sound at all with the reverb off), and only when I turn the rotary speakers on can I hear these sounds, albeit with the rotary effect. This doesn't happen when I hook the electro up through an external amp, only the headphones - is this a standard feature? Seems a little annoying not to hear the clean electric piano sounds through headphones.
Thanks

Hi
A faulty headphone adapter or a headphone jack that is not inserted properly will cause this behavior. You are in effect listening to a "Left minus Right" signal, that is why mono sounds may not sound at all unless reverb or some other effect is turned on, and stereo instruments will sound strange. Check the phones.
