Nord Drum 3P Sound swapping between kits?

Post by Tech-Artist »

Is it possible to this:

Copy sound with all the effects from Bank A4 (Pad 2) to User Bank E1 (Pad 2)

and then move to

Bank A5 (Pad 1) and copy that to User Bank E1 (Pad 1)?

Hi Tech-Artist!
I have a ND2, not the 3P, but I checked the manual, because I was curious, I think there are 2 ways:

1) on page 6 I read that you can store a Drum sound into a User Drum Bank, (see 'Store Drum')
If you then go to the other Drum kit where you want to use that sound, you simply recall it (see 'Drum Select')

2) On page 11 you'll find that the Copy and Paste functions allow you to copy a drum sound to another Channel within the same Drum kit, or even to another Channel of another Drum kit, this is the same as on the ND2. The Swap function allows you to swap 2 Drum sounds within the same Drum kit (I don't think across kits)

On the 'signal flow' diagram on page 6, Delay and Reverb are indicated as being Global effects, so the parameters for those effects are set for the Drum kit as a whole and not set (nor copied/stored) per drum sound. I found more on those effects on page 11.

Cheers,
Albert

Thank you!

You are right... I tried copying a Pad's sound to a USER sound and then used it on the Kit I created!
