Hi there,

i have searched the for info on the correct fuse for a Nord Lead 3 and found some good stuff.

HOWEVER I am finding it difficult to find a fuse from a hardware store (Radio Shack is closed).

Can anyone give me a heads up for a place I can get the correct fuse from?

I am switching my Nord Lead 3 from 230v to 115v so need the right fuse - 115/125V 250mA.

Many thanks in advance!

PS: I am in NYC.
:thanks:

Posted this in the Nord Lead forum but maybe its better in the general forum?

Looking for a place that sells fuses for Nords.
Presume they all take the same types of fuses?

I have a Nord Lead 3 I need a fuse for and I am finding it difficult to find a fuse from a hardware store (Radio Shack is closed).

(Edited, didn't realize you probably need it faster than online stores like Amazon, which has it, can do)

actually I can wait - I just need to find where I can get one from.

If you know the correct part number or link for something on Amazon I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
:thanx:

As explained in this thead http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-elect ... html#p8549 you need a 300mA fuse (fast type), you google or Amazon-search for it you will surely find (example) ;-)

Or.. ask Pablomastodon if he has any spare one to send

The fuse required is "slo-blo'

-Quoting Pablo in another detailed discussion at:
nord-electro-forum-f9/european-power-co ... t8476.html

In addition to Amazon, try electronics distributors (Digi-key, Mouser, Avnet, Arrow) for fuller selection -- and to compare pricing/shipping cost.

With Radio Shack gone, I'd check a hardware store or something like a Home Depot, they'd probably have it

Fry's Electronics are a good bet too if one is in your area...

Thanks for the correction pterm, my memory made me a trick apparently :? , anyway strange to have a slo-blo for an electronic equipment (but probably it is due to the power-on transients) and if that's the spec then... I stand corrected. :thanx:
