Try to keep features requests realistic based off what has previously been achieved with updates, although admittedly, I'm going to adventure outside that realm a bit likely. These are my personal feature requests of which it seems some others have also requested. I will parse their requests into here as well. I've also created a poll - willing to pay for this update or no?
-Feature compatibility with the latest editor/manager features - Samples and programs linked by name instead of location #. Sample missing prompt with search/locate. (This is actually my #1 request because Im doing sample intense projects and this is pretty annoying and is resolved in other synths)
-Polyphony limit via 'System' (I have a problem sometimes re-triggering duplications of the same note, eg, if playing a C-Chord, and playing the c note repeatedly, will result in stacked C voices phasing with each other)
-Programmable MIDI thru on the output
-programmable AfterTouch (this would be done by holding shift + the first C on the keyboard, pressing through to engage aftertouch, and then turning a setting... doing the same but on the first 'D', and turning knob will remove the link)
-More expression pedal destinations +PLUS+ Multiple destinations: 'Destination 1', 'Destination 2', 'Destination 3'. That way it can be separate from the morph.
-Ability to use sustain pedal as a gate/trigger instead.
-allowing the wooden pitch stick to control other things, give it multiple destinations - ie could control filter while pitch shifting, or set pitch amount to '0' so that it just becomes another control.
-tap tempo LFO rates by holding shift, and hitting the delay tap tempo - this essentially is a global 1/4 note clock.
----^holding shift AND holding tap tempo enters you into a selection mode, where touching any rate or envelope parameter will engage into a division sync mode to the global tap tempo clock. ie, 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8/, 1/16th, etc. So for example, you hold shift and tap tempo. it enters you into the parameter clock division selection mode, you go to LFO1 rate, nudge the knob, now it is engaged into division and on the parameter screen when you move the knob you will see it switch between 1/1, 1/4, etc, etc. If you leave LFO2 alone, it remains free-time/hz.
-More vibrato options and programability in the system menu:
---Depth level
---Aftertouch pressure to depth amount ratio control
---Adtertouch pressure to rate option and amount/ratio control
---vibrato attack and release envelope with multiple destination options: 'rate', 'depth', 'rate+depth', 'sync to filter-env', 'sync to amp-env'.
---Additional "vibrato modes", including to use it as an additional LFO (LFO3) source with multiple selectable destinations via 'System Menu':
-----^VIBRATO MODES: 'Vibrato', 'TREMOLO', 'LFO3', 'Vib+Trem', 'Vib+LFO3', 'Trem+LFO3', 'Vib+Trem+LFO3'
-------^Ability to invert phase of LFO3 from vib/trem.
-------^Depth of trem/vib is LFO3 amount - could have a LFO3 amount to depth ratio (1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 5:1, 10:1), as well as '-', '+', and '-/+' amount options.
-------^Could potentially have same option for LFO3 rate, a ratio doubler (2:1, 3:1, 5:1, 10:1)
------- (((Maybe LFO3 by default is linked to vibrato, but maybe LFO3 is an internal system LFO on it's own, could have independent rate, link to LFO1 or LFO2)))
---Sustain pedal turns on vibrato.
---Ability to lock current vibrato type to current program, so that it can be turned on/off(bypassed) without cycling the different vibrato types.
-Option in 'System' to have empty programs be selectable as default square wave oscillators, ie, completely zero'd but with square waves selected, volume at half, only 'A' on.. I've created a blank-backup of this empty preset for this purpose. It's much quicker workflow when designing multiple ideas.
-Naming programs using the keys, when in process of naming a program, holding shift and pressing a key will select a letter. The very first 'A' key-note on the keyboard is almost the perfect distance to the last key-note on the keyboard which would be a 'z' just utilize last two black keys to make it happen
-ability to expand memory for samples, with some instructions for us DIY'ers. or maybe utilizing the USB slot somehow.
I would personally pay $200 to get all this added ^ it's nearly creating an entire new synth.
