Hi!
I'm thinking about creating an effect pedal which is based on MIDI signal, and that will change the sound.
I don't have MIDI wire and I have just a simple question before buying wire and continue to write the specifications : if I connect something to MIDI output, does the audio left/right output continue to work?
Thanks

Yes, unless you set "Local" to "Off."
However, MIDI output includes no audio output. It is solely for sending digital information to other devices.

Re: Electro 3 : does MIDI out connection mutes audio output?
I supplement my Electro 3 with an external Roland synth module, by connecting a traditional 5 pin MIDI cable to the MIDI out of my Electro 3. I can confirm that when I connect another device to the MIDI output of the Electro, the audio left/right output of the Electro continues to work.
