Nord Rack 2/PCMCIA
Hello,
I have a Nord Rack 2 with a PCMCIA card but I still seem to only be able to save to the first 40 patches. It doesn't seem to register the card at all.
Do you think my card or card slot may be damaged?

Hmm, maybe the battery is empty?? (I am not sure but given it is a simple CR2025 battery, might be user replacable?)
Also, did you follow the procedures exactly as described e.g., here: http://www.clavia.se/downloads/sounds/nordlead2.htm
If it still is not recognized, might be a Card or reader(less likely IMHO) issue.
Good luck!

Re: Nord Rack 2/PCMCIA
I just changed the battery today thinking it would solve the problem. Since my first post I have noticed that when my card is out I have patches 1-99 and then p0-p9 and can save to 40. When I put the card in I have patches after p9 starting at 1.1 which I can save onto. So I guess that's my problem solved, but does this sound right?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have the same issue, thought PCMCIA card/reader were kaput, even with new battery. Seems interesting that you cannot save to above patch 40 on each program but that there are *more* programs to save to. I will have to look and see if same thing happens for me.

I know this is a cross-posting with electro-music.com, but what is happening? Let's say you activate only Slot D. After creating a sound you can't save? The screen is blinking, but nothing happens when pushing the save button twice? On what location in the memory do you want to save ?
