I recently purchased an Electro 5D and was looking through the effects. I saw the wah (which functions as an auto-wah with control pedal deselected) but also noticed that the second Phaser effect is an emulation of the Mutron III envelope follower...Now I don't have the Nord on me currently to test but I was wondering what the difference was in algorithm or (more importantly) in terms of sound since the 'auto-wah' sound is very closely associated with the clavinet, especially with songs like Higher Ground. However, the actual effect Stevie used on that was a Mutron envelope follower...
Now, if the auto-wah is velocity-sensitive what's the real difference between it and the Mutron?
Thanks, as always!
