>That still sounds like some kick-backs are going on under the table to me.<
Yeah, it's all a vast conspiracy of scheming Nord executives and insidious regional sales managers. I'm sure they are spending their ill-gotten profits right now on yet another round of champagne cocktails at Sturcompagniet, as they toast their dire victories over hapless keyboard customers.
>Me personally will never buy a Nord because of people like this<
Ok, then you certainly don't need to waste any more of your time here. Happy skies.

Did you, at any point, actually contact the DEALER WHO SOLD YOU THE DEFECTIVE UNIT?davlippo7 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025, 16:44 I understand but AM&S is the Nord representative for America who is Nord because they have chosen him to represent them. So in a circular way it's still Nord. He does as Nord tells him to do exactly so if he sucks so does Nord that's just how it works. He's the Nord spokes person or bot or public relations I assume. I questioned him whether there was a commitee or group he answers to I think he said it's only him. So he's the "Nord God" of North America.
I did fill out a form and said I was located in Sweden but I never heard back. When I filled it out the first time stating in America it simply went right back to AM&S. So there's really no way to reach the real Nord people. They probably don't care anyway but I won't be buying another one so I guess I don't have any reason to remain on this forum. The Yamaha Musician forum talks abuot brands so it's not limited to one brand or even Yamaha. Maybe they do here I haven't really looked.
Frankly, if a unit is sold, someone breaks it, and a dealer sells you the broken, used machine: none of that is Nord's problem, in the least.
Like literally none of that concerns them, at all.
What did the dealer say? (sorry if you actually mentioned this somewhere, I may have missed a page or two of this thread)
The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…

The problem in fact is that actually davlippo7 opened the unit to try to fix the issue himself, which in turn has opened the door for dealer/distributor to claim that he may (note: conditional) have done something wrong and this voids any warranty or return policy in place...analogika wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025, 22:45Did you, at any point, actually contact the DEALER WHO SOLD YOU THE DEFECTIVE UNIT?davlippo7 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2025, 16:44 I understand but AM&S is the Nord representative for America who is Nord because they have chosen him to represent them. That's why we always recommend anyone to not attempt any DIY fix when a keyboard (not just Nord, any) is still under warranty or return period, even if the issue seems easy to fix.
