I think the only way is to contact Nord and volunteer being a beta tester with specific focus on accessibility issues
tried that, completely ignored my emails, which is rude. but hey.

So just to be clear, do Nord not have a version of Sample Editor compatible with current version of OSX (Catalina)?
I'm a Mac user planning to go to Catalina, but if this is the case perhaps I'll wait longer.

That's correct, but they are working on an update.

Do yourself a HUGE FAVOUR. leave MacOS 10.15.2 alone. still buggy and there's still a number of devs not yet supporting 10.15.
10.14.6 is perfectly fine and provides what you'll need.

As with every major system upgrade, it is a good idea to wait four to six months until the dust has settled.
Make sure ALL your software is officially certified and supported. I’ve had an older, unsupported audio unit plug-in crash a particular Logic project every time I opened it after upgrading to Mojave.

Don’t worry, they do

As you can see on previous pages of this post, Clavia on Dec 18 already uploaded a “How To” for the new Sample Editor 3...
I suppose, the new version is not ready for Prime Time so they chose to delay it.
I respect Clavia for that decision and I’m hoping for Stage 2/2EX support just like they did with npno v6...

It's kind of awkward, I feel like I have two friends each giving me different advice. Apple/Apple forums etc say its time to upgrade NOW. Nord user forums say don't upgrade.
At the end of the day my absolute priority is the security of my overall computer system, so I personally feel it's time to upgrade to Catalina. It IS important to keep things up to date, I can't just keep waiting. Catalina has been around for almost 3 months now. I hope Nord can release something compatible soon, but in the meantime I'll just have to figure out a way to make the current Nord software run. (virtual machine perhaps)

From my perspective the reason to change should be based on the applications which are used, not on the vehicle which is necessary to run these applications. And this is what an operating system is - a vehicle only. I would never decide for a specific operating system in favor of another one just because of the OS itself, I always do this based on which applications I need and then where they run best at. Nord software runs well on Mojave right now like most other software products do, and I don’t know about any software which requires Catalina (not saying that no software like this exists).
In terms of security I don’t think that Mojave is less secure than Catalina at this point of time, Apple usually supports the current and the previous two releases of Mac OS, which is probably 2 years from the release of a new version for the immediate predecessor. This would mean that Mojave will be supported until 2021 at least, so there should be no security reason to upgrade to Catalina now.
The situation is different for people who buy a new Mac now and get it with Catalina preinstalled. They don’t have a choice and for them it’s important to have the required software available for a 64bit only OS.

I am still on Mojave and receiving updates (OS and/or Safari) so far, so security is not an issue at the moment and I won't change until I am sure I have no 32 bit app or plugin left that I need.
With regards to NSE and Catalina users, though not optimal they may run the Windows version of it in a VirtualBox (with one of those official VMs from Microsoft, used for IE development) while waiting for the new 64bit version to be released.
