Hi all,
*-I’m missing that one distinguish Rhodes-sound used on so many records from Al Jarreau ((like Mornin’) mostly the 80’s) played by Tom Canning.
It’s a kind of dyno-rhodes (but not really) with a mix of Boss CE-1 chorus or an Electro Harmonix Small Stone Phaser and a
specific EQ-setting. I think you know what I mean.
You can check this article:
http://www.fenderrhodes.com/service/dyno-sound.php
*-How about reproducing a Fazioli F228, Bosendorfer 225 and a Malmsjo Grand in the future ?
*-Some nice Piano or Rhodes layers with softstrings with sustain or pads with sustain.
Best regards,
Adje (Nord Electro 3-61)

Rhodes Electric Piano (Dirtier, Funkier) [more detailed and better tuned]
Upright Piano [previously released are missing either attack or cutting ability]
Wurlitzer Electric Piano [more detailed, possibly more grungy]
Clavinet (Key-off artifact) [more detailed, possibly more grungy]
New Grand Piano, any size, just different [with both fast attack and balanced tone. and better tuned P]

What I am really missing are authentic and dynamically playable Roland MKS20 EPiano sounds (npno-Format). The synth section of my Stage2 with 2 velocity layers maximum is too limitated for this kind of sounds.
There are many accoustic rhodes variations available, but why not those very nice and rhich synthetic EPianos?

I am not aware of any velocity layers in NS2 synth section, samples are always single layer...maybe you mean something different?

Hi everyone,
I'm new on this forum and not yet owner of a NS2 (still waiting for it).
What about some Nordwave samples?

There is only 1 Nord Sample .nsmp format that is common between all Nord products that support it, NW being just one of those. Or maybe you mean sampling NW sound/programs for use on other machines?

That's exactly what I mean, as Nord have made with samples from the NL2X, NL3 and G2X.
